Learning Support

​​​​Consistent with our goal of providing quality educational outcomes for all students, the school has an Inclusive Education Team consisting of our Learning Support Teachers Prep-2 and Years 3-6, school officers, Speech Pathologist and Guidance Counsellor. This team provides in-class support and a variety of individual and group programs to promote the educational, social and emotional development of students with special needs. The school’s Guidance Counsellor is a very important member of the Support Team, operating a number of proactive programs in classes throughout the school as well as providing individual counselling support. The school's Speech Pathologist works with the classroom teachers supporting and implementing strategies to support children requiring speech therapy.

The Learning Support Teachers, Speech Pathologist and Guidance Counsellor liaise with BCE Support Services, medical and educational professionals and agencies, staff and parents/carers to design, implement and review programs aimed at assisting every child achieve their potential.
